SAN FRANCISCO -- Angel Pagan ripped a tiebreaking double with one out in the ninth inning Friday night to lift the Giants to a 3-2 triumph over the San Diego Padres.
With the score tied, Gregor Blanco began the Giants' ninth against Luke Gregerson by blooping a single to left field. Andres Torres bunted into a force play but atoned by stealing second base. Pagan then lined Gregerson's next pitch to the right-field wall, scoring Torres easily.
